|  About Me: | For the past 17 years I've been working with Crystal Reports / BusinessObjects Enterprise either as an analyst, trainer, consultant or courseware writer. Many times I have worn all of these hats in a single day. Most recently I've taken on the role as lead presenter for the video tutorials at BusinessObjectsUsers.com. |

Through the years I've learned there are some questions prospective students ask before deciding if the training I provide is right for them. Here is a list of the most common questions:

Our students are basic end-users. Are you able to train to their level? Yes! Basic end-users are more than 80% of the student category we train to. Crystal Reports is a technically advanced product and the challenge for me is to find the best way to help people understand its complex technical topics. I've found there are multiple ways of explaining a topic, and with a little effort, students can become proficient report writers. What are our training options? Through BusinessObjectsUsers.com, we can offer nearly any conceivable option or configuration. Please refer to the "Training Options" section on this page. Do you do consulting? I personally do offer consulting services. My preference is what I call "Over the Shoulder" consulting. This is where we ceate an online session with GoToMeeting and I help you through the issues you are having in getting a report completed. Most consulting sessions last only one to two hours, but I can save the client hours of their time in the process. If you are looking for dozens or hundreds of reports to be professionally built, then I can best help with a portion of those reports or most likely help you find a qualified individual who has the time available for such an effort. I've found someone cheaper, why should I use you? The obvious answer is cheaper doesn't mean better. When it comes to building reports, experience does matter. If your time and money are valuable (and I know they are) then you can't afford to waste either one a single bit. When shopping for a Crystal Reports resource be sure you know what else comes with the relationship besides a cheap billing rate. In addition to measuring product knowledge and experience, consider the quality of support offered once the event is over. Experience has taught me client relationships tend to last years and not days, which is why after the event support is so important to me. A large number of my clients are ones I've worked with for over 12 years. They keep coming back because I'm a resource helping them along the way between invoiced events.  What are your hobbies/interests? Living in Colorado gives me great opportunities to pursue my most favored activities. In the winter I get to ski several different mountains with Monarch being my favorite. It is a small, intimate locals only kind of place, but a great place to ski with the kids. In the summer, with the Rocky Mountains in my backyard, I'm able to hike, fish, camp and river raft. Lastly, I love to play with new technologies, especially the web-based ones. - Training Options

The biggest advantage, which separates BusinessOjectsUsers.com from the crowd, is our ability to serve Crystal Reports training to nearly any size group and/or budget. Below is a list possible options:

 Description
On-Site Instructor-Led Training By far the highest-quality option. An on-site training event means I visit you at your location and train up to twelve individuals. This training offers the personal touch that is so important to the typical student. This is the most expensive training due to the cost of travel. On-Site Virtual Instructor-Led Training Nearly the same quality as the option above, but without the cost of travel. The class is delivered via GoToMeeting where each student logs into the session separately, or a training room of individuals have one computer logged in projecting GoToMeeting on a screen with a speaker phone joined to the conference. Instructor-Led Public Virtual Training This is a great option for one or two students needing training. These GoToMeeting sessions typically have several students from different companies or organizations logged into the session. Subscription Videos The most affordable option available. Students are able to view entire class lessons on their own time and at their own pace. Subscription videos are always included as a standard feature with any of the other training options. This provides an excellent after-class resource for students who have received more formal training, but could benefit seeing the lesson demonstrated again. - Rates/Pricing
